Megaplast has over 20 years of successful business practice in Bulgaria. The brand specializes in the manufacturing of agricultural and cosmetic products, agricultural machinery as well as in oil distillation. Megaplast’s longevity on the market is a proof for professional experience and attitude.

The mission of Megaplast is delivering the best and first-class-products to their customers which is possible due to our team of highly-qualified experts. To make this possible, we have our own fields of arable land of 5,000 decare, found in the very heart of the Rose Valley.

Those fields of rose and lavender crops, located in the village of Gorno Cherkovishte, as well as the good climate, guarantee our oils’ and floral waters’ first-class-quality.

Added to the vast variety of Megaplast’s activities is also the process of land cultivation in the town of Kazanlak and the village of Buzovgrad where different cereals are being sown - wheat, barley, rye, oats and sunflower.

Megaplast offers agricultural services such as cropping such cerals and sunflower and our customers are mainly businesses from the region of Kazanlak. For that reason, we are using the best equipment – John Deere tractors, a Claas combine harvester as well as transportation vehicles.

Embraced by both the mountains of Stara Planina and Sredna Gora, right in the very heart of Bulgaria, there lies the Rose Valley. It spans across the regions of Karlovo, Strelcha and Kazanlak and gets its name in the 19th century – mainly because of the climate and the quality of the soil which permit the growing of oil-bearing roses. And Bulgarian Roses are the symbol of beauty, health and youth.

Bulgarian rose oil is widely know all around the World for its benefits to health and its fragrance. It’s being used in all first-class perfume brands, as well as the most expensive product of that sort – Clive Christian’s “Her Majesty”.

Rose oil is a world-standard for quality, and Bulgaria is the leader in its production. Also called “liquid gold”, roses go through a long and difficult process that originates from the traditions of many ancient peoples and their traditions until the liquid product is ready. About 1000 roses is what it takes for producing just 1 gram of rose oil. Rose-picking begins at sunrise so that each flower can keep its fragrance and the drops of morning dew on it. The process ends right before noon. Then, the petals are being boiled until rose oil and water are obtained.

The rose came from India through Persia, Syria and Turkey and it chose our homeland of Bulgaria for its new home. It has a major role in the cosmetics industry. Being a hundred percent natural product the rose and its chemical structure is gently hydrating and refreshing the skin, prevents aging and helps cell-regeneration. It’s a natural tonic which delicately cleans and nourishes the skin.

The fragrance of this flower is known to get people into a better mood and also has a soothing effect on one’s skin and senses.
